Pointe Ahead

Pointe Ahead is a dance company under the artistic direction of Rachel Whorton. Pointe Ahead marries the principles of classical dance and film to make an art form, which is accessible to all. The company explores the stories and dynamics of people’s lives, their relationships and everyday situations. The familiar settings become part of the piece itself and the camera is an additional performer. At the core of any work is, and always will be, classical ballet, and this artistry drives each creation.
