‘Vacillation – Pregnancy’ is the third in a series of seven short films by Pointe Ahead. Based on the poem by W. B. Yeats, the series focuses on the theme of the seven stages of life. It is set in the current day and follows the nine month period from a husband and wife discovering that they are pregnant through to full term. The story is portrayed through classical ballet without dialogue.

‘Vacillation – Adolescence’ is the second in a series of seven short films by Pointe Ahead. Based on the poem by W. B. Yeats, the series focuses on the theme of the seven stages of life. Using the traditional format of a classical ballet Pas de Deux this film shows two adolescences, in love and a snapshot of their life.

‘Vacillation – Adulthood’ is a short dance film based on the poem ‘Vacillation’ by W.B. Yeats. This is the first in a series of seven shorts themed on the seven stages of life. Inspiration for Adulthood came from the lines in the poem: “Get all the gold and silver that you can, Satisfy ambition, animate The trivial days and ram them with the sun…”
